Magdaléna Komárová

Magdaléna Komárová (*1977), studied Theatre faculty on Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. After taking part in long time course of Expresive therapies cooperated with homeless theaters Ježek and Čížek in Prague and Theatre with no Home in Bratislava. She lives in Canary Islands where she works with inmates in Penitentiary centre of Lanzarote. She used her theatrical experience with mental disable people and orphans. She is member of international association Adventure Life using the approach based on Heroes Journey by Paul Rebillot.

Abstract of workshop: DON’T TOUCH ME!

The workshop “Don’t touch me!” is focused in sharing experience with imprisoned women and men in Penitentiary Centre In Tahiche (Lanzarote, Spain) during the process of creating theatre performance “One Flew Over Cuckoo’s Nest” and exploring the topic of hero and antihero in the life Reality of inmates. There will be presentation of HIT project- “Heroes of integration and transformation” based on theatrical principals and on the methodology of Heroes Journey by Paul Rebillot. And we will speak about RESPECT inside of the prisons and how important and inaccesible can be the simple TOUCH for the people inside of the jail.
